CONCEPT

Washed-Up is a multiplayer party game where the players have to collect plates to return to the washer. They compete for whoever has the most points when the timer runs out.

Our goal for this project was to create a fun party game with fun and wonky physics.

LEVEL DESIGN

LEVEL LAYOUT AND BLOCKOUT

For this project I helped plan and make a blockout of the level. We wanted to mix movable objects with static objects, to increase the feeling of chaos when playing, while still keeping it balanced for all players.

ITERATIONS

The first version of the map had a seperate station for turning in dishes for each player. However, during playtesting we realized that this made interaction between players very sparse.

Instead we made a shared area to turn in dishes. This helped players feel more connected and competative while playing.

BLUEPRINTS

PLATE DESPAWNER

Throughout this project, us designers worked closely together with all of the systems for the game.

I worked on the functionality of removing the plates that hit the floor.
